At CDAT we see the financial management and operation of our schools as being very much a partnership. While our schools typically still have School Business Managers on site – overseeing day-to-day operations and providing direct support to the Headteacher and LGB – we provide a robust central finance function that takes care of much of the strategic finance work, budgeting, audit and so on. Led by Jane Evans, our experienced and skilled CFO, the finance team also provide regular on-site support and are always at the end of a phone. CDAT's chosen finance partner is Access, whose finance package is used across all of our schools and in the trust centrally as well.
