Oxton St Saviour's CE Primary School - Headteacher

Appointment of Headteacher

Oxton St Saviour’s is seeking an inspiring and dedicated headteacher who is an effective and supportive communicator; an outstanding and creative leader who will continue to drive our school forward and foster high ambitions for our children, so each pupil thrives through their learning journey. We are looking for someone who will value all staff, fostering a happy and hardworking team, and actively encourage their growth through ongoing CPD.

The successful candidate will uphold the Christian distinctiveness of our school, which is rooted in our vision: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength, and love your neighbour as yourself." Our school community is guided by these values, ensuring that love, respect, and service to others are at the heart of everything we do.

At Oxton St Saviour’s, children feel valued, nurtured, and empowered to be who they are. We have a strong culture of inclusivity and close, meaningful links with our church, supported by our school chaplain, ensuring that our faith is woven into every aspect of school life. We are looking for an outstanding leader with the vision and ambition to continue moving our school forward, ensuring the highest aspirations for our children.

The successful applicant will appreciate the benefits of working with a supportive team of staff, governors, parents, and the wider community. They will also enjoy collaborating with other schools within CDAT as we academise on May 1st, sharing best practices to enhance learning and leadership. Oxton St Saviour’s is a small, caring, and nurturing school where children thrive. Set in a unique and beautiful location overlooking the Welsh hills, our school offers a wonderful environment in which to lead and inspire.
