'Be the Change' Environmental Campaign
At CDAT, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our 'Be the Change' Environmental Campaign, which brought together schools from across our Trust in a shared commitment to caring for the environmental and inspiring positive change.
Over the course of the campaign, pupils and staff embraced a wide range of environmental projects and activities designed to make a difference within their schools and local communities. From creating wildlife habitats and planting gardens to organising litter picks, developing recycling initiatives and leading sustainability campaigns, our schools demonstrated creativity, passion and a genuine desire to protect the world around them.
The response to the campaign was fantastic. Every school that took part showcased the values that sit at the heart of CDAT, working together to care for God's creation while empowering young people to become responsible and active citizens. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, making the judging process incredibly difficult.
We are delighted to congratulate the winners of the Bird Box Competition:
Wybunbury Delves CE Primary School
Dodleston CE Primary School
Woodchurch CE Primary School
Congratulations to Dodleston, one of the winning schools, which was presented with an RSPB bird box in recognition of its excellent efforts to support wildlife and sustainability.
A huge congratulations to all three schools for their outstanding efforts and well-deserved recognition.
However, this campaign was about far more than selecting winners. Every participating school played a part in making the initiative such a success. The enthusiasm, innovation and commitment shown by pupils and staff across the Trust has been truly inspiring, demonstrating how collective action can have a meaningful impact on our environment.
We would like to thank every school, member of staff and pupil who got involved in the campaign. Your hard work, dedication and passion have helped make 'Be the Change' a wonderful celebration of environmental stewardship across CDAT.
Together, our schools have shown that even small actions can create lasting change, and we look forward to building on this success in the future.
